How to Join NEXA Lending — Step by Step (and Picking the Right Team)

The 6-step Flight Plan onboarding, license transfer, and why the team you join under matters more than corporate.

Joining NEXA Lending (formerly NEXA Mortgage) is straightforward — you need an active MLO license (NMLS registration), then you apply, onboard, and transfer your license.

The six steps: 1) hold or get an active MLO license (20-hour NMLS course + SAFE exam); 2) pick your sponsoring team BEFORE you apply; 3) apply / create your account through NEXA's Flight Plan onboarding; 4) complete company policies and compliance; 5) transfer your license from your current sponsor; 6) get set up with Arive LOS, the wholesale lender panel, and NEXA University if you're new.

At NEXA your sponsoring team — not corporate — determines how much onboarding is covered, what marketing you start with, who mentors you, and how fast you ramp. Picking the team is the single most important decision.
